Synopsis

Tilly and the Blue Pearl by Angela McAllister

Early Readers are stepping stones from picture books to reading books. A blue Early Reader is perfect for sharing and reading together. A red Early Reader is the next step on your reading journey. Tilly is a mermaid, and it's her best friend Marina's birthday soon. Tilly wants to find her the perfect present. When she sees a beautiful blue pearl in the spooky Seaweed Forest, she knows exactly what to give Marina - a necklace! But getting the pearl is more difficult than it seems - will Tilly be brave enough to do it? A delightful story from the author of THE PIRATES' PICNIC, set in a beautiful underwater world brought to life by illustrator Maxine Lee.
