About the Author

Pauline Wylie is the Head of English at Bangor Academy and Sixth Form College. She is also an experienced examiner. John Andrews is an experienced examiner. Together with Ellen McVea, he was a member of the English Working Group that produced the English Programme of Study for Northern Ireland. He has also had extensive experience as a teacher, and is currently Head of English at Ballycastle High School.
