About the Author

Ian Luff has taught history for 27 years and is currently Deputy Headteacher at Kesgrave High School in Ipswich where he also teaches history at all levels. He is a celebrated expert in using role play and active demonstration in teaching history and regularly runs INSET on this topic. Michael Riley is Director of the Schools History Project
