Little Oleg by Margaret Cort

When Eric's house burns down, Oleg invites him to stay. Soon Eric is eating Oleg out of house and home and being extremely ungrateful. But when Eric gives Oleg a coat with silver buttons by mistake, Oleg's fortunes look like they're on the mend! A timeless story about friendship and helping others. About the Author

Margaret and John Cort were a husband and wife team, parents of the award-winning illustrator Ben Cort. This was their only picture book. Margaret used to work in advertising and likes quilting, cooking and gardening. John was a designer and illustrator and enjoyed pottery and watching football.
