Each book touches on issues such as conservation, habitat destruction, poaching, how each animal lives in the wild and how they are cared for in captivity. About the Author

CLARE HIBBERT has written more than 200 information books for children. History and natural history are her favourite topics. She has been shortlisted for the Aventis Junior Science Prize, highly commended by the Geographical Association, commended by NASEN and won Practical Pre-School Gold Awards. She lives in Kent with her husband, two children and a rather pesky lurcher.
