Synopsis

Flying Monsters by Liz Miles

Pterosaurs and other flying creatures from this era weren't actually dinosaurs, they were flying reptiles. But they are still amazing animals from the prehistoric world with many similar features to the dinosaurs that lived alongside them. From their early evolution to eventual extinction, these books span the prehistoric era where dinosaurs ruled the world. From the biggest to the smallest, the hunting and defence strategies they use and the amazing variety of body, shapes, sizes and features that make these amazing creatures so unique to our history. Find out all about their dangerous world...if you dare! Six books in the series each focus on one particular aspect of dinosaur life and characteristics. For dino-mad kids everywhere aged 8-12.
