About the Author

Katie Dale

Katie Dale loves nothing more than creating characters - both on page and onstage. She studied English literature at Sheffield University and spent a year at the University of North Carolina, followed by a crazy year at drama school, a summer playing Juliet with a national Shakespeare tour, and eight months backpacking through Southeast Asia. In 2008 she won the SCBWI Undiscovered Voices competition. Someone Else's Life is Katie's first novel and she's currently working on her next YA fiction title. Katie lives in Cambridge, England.
