About the Author

Dan Yaccarino is an internationally-acclaimed author and illustrator with more than thirty children's books to his name including Doug Unplugged and Every Friday. He is also the creator of animated television series, Oswald. Dan lives in New York City with his wife and two children. Fran Manushkin began her career as a children's book editor before moving into writing. She has since written over twenty books for children to high critical acclaim in her native US, including her Katie Woo books. Born in Chicago, Fran now lives in New York City.
