My Mummy Says by Angie Stevens

The first title in a new series about special relationships in the lives of little children. Beautifully illustrated, warm and humorous in tone, the simple story is about a chance encounter, making new friends and the very special relationship that exists between mummies and their children. A soft and gentle take on family life and relationships that perfectly captures the humour and impulsive nature of family life, and those people who hold a special place in the lives of every child. Delightful to both children and adults, Angie Stevens

's voice reading them the story. A really sweet story that would be great for young toddlers! Once Upon a Bookcase The illustrations are really simple and nice and it is a great book to sit and read with Little Miss A as it is not too long and holds her attention throughout. The book is an absolutely charming board book which both my boys loved reading, and the illustrations are delightful! My Mummy Says is a lovely picture book which shows all the wonderful things that Mum's do to create a magical day for their little ones. We can recommend this book and I think it would make a lovely gift to share for Mother's Day too. Organised, spontaneous, playful or kind everyone is different. I am definitely the mummy who says 'I think I know where we are!' Reassuring, timeless and full of warmth and humour, this inspirational story teaches youngsters about the joy of sharing, family, friendship and adventure, and includes emotions, dialogue and events recognisable to most small children.
