Synopsis

Vampires and Veggies by Blake Hoena

Mina is a vibrant, veggie-eating vampire who hates blood. As you can imagine, this is a problem. Mina's parents invite humans to dinner to test Mina's vampire skills. Find out if Mina is able to keep her secret in this early chapter book.

About the Author

Blake Hoena grew up in central Wisconsin, where he wrote stories about robots conquering the moon and trolls lumbering around the woods behind his parents house. He now lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with his wife, two kids, a dog, and a couple of cats. Blake continues to make up stories about things like space aliens and superheroes, and he has written more than 70 chapter books and graphic novels for children. Dave Bardin studied illustration at Cal State Fullerton while working as an art teacher. As an artist, Dave has worked on many different projects for television, books, comics, and animation. In his spare time Dave enjoys watching documentaries, listening to podcasts, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He works out of Los Angles, California.
