Synopsis

Arctic Land, Arctic Sea, Arctic Sky Boxset by Vladyana Krykorka

In these three new board books, Vladyana Krykorka brings the Arctic world to life with her signature illustration style. Each one focuses on a particular aspect of Arctic wildlife - often showing a mother with her young - and pairs lovely watercolour paintings with simple and expressive language. Arctic Land introduces young readers to mammals, such as the musk ox and arctic hare; Arctic Sea to marine animals, such as the narwhal and beluga whale; and Arctic Sky to birds, such as swooping owls and graceful, gliding swans. Young readers will love the innovative, sturdy fold-out format, which allows the books to be read over and over or to be hung on a wall as standalone pieces of art.
