2014 Silver Birch Express Award nomineeCanadian Science Writers? Association Outstanding Youth Book 2013 shortlistOn CCBC's Best Books for Kids and Teens list 2013On Resource Links? Best of 2013 listOn Ontario Library Association Best Bets List 2013 Imagine a world without bees. Not only would it be less colourful - with fewer wildflowers and flowering plants - it would be less fruitful as well. A world without bees would mean a world where the food supply would be significantly diminished. Global bee researcher Laurence Packer estimates that bees are responsible for 1/3 of our food supply. Buzz About Bees is the latest addition to the series that includes Lowdown on Earthworms and follows the same formula offering an in-depth look at an endangered and vital part of the natural world.Accompanying information about the history, social structure and science behind the world of bees and honey are conservation activities to make the world a place where hives of bees can thrive.Reviews: With punny titles such as UnBEE-lievable Body Parts and Let Me BEE: I'm BUZZ-y Working, Buzz About Bees takes an upbeat, yet serious, approach to its topic...Absorbing, cheerful, and easy to read. Recommended.-- CM Magazine We really liked Buzz About Bees by Kari-Lynn Winters and would recommend it to anyone who loves nature and wants to take care of it. My sister and I are both home schooled and we were able to include this fun book as part of our science curriculum. -- Mason (age 11) and Emilee (age 12), Reader Views Kids

I think Lovereading4kids is an amazing company because of the friendly staff and the fabulous chance to read great books before publication.

I have told all my friends, family & teachers to see for themselves just how great the site is. Without fail, they are hugely impressed.

Alexander Boxall – age 11

It has introduced my children to books we hadn’t come across before. Real children’s reviews gives a great insight into what others think to

I love Lovereading4kids because I get an opportunity to put my opinion forward and to try new books

Elosie Clarkson – age 11

A great way to introduce kids to great books, authors & genres. Parents can find age-appropriate books to share with their children.

Judi Davies – Aberdare Girls Sch

You give me age appropriate ideas of books I can read and buy for the children and find out what other children their age think of them too.

Katie Lonsdale

It is THE website to use for narrowing down your search for any book. Definitely knocks the socks off any other book review website.

Nickey and Tomasz Hawryszczuk

I am so pleased to have signed my kids up as they are reading a much wider range of books and even choosing books out of their comfort zone.
