Synopsis

Spool Knit Jewelry Make Beautiful Bracelets, Anklets and Rings by Anne Akers Johnson

Knotted and woven jewelry is always a hit with the crafty crowd. The jewelry is fun to make and the results are uniquely hip, relaxed, pretty look. Spool Knit Jewelry comes with a customised knitting spool and crochet hook, along with elasticized cord in two different widths and a cool mix of colours. Unlike other knitting spools, ours is specially designed to work with stretchy cord, rather than yarn, making it the ideal tool for jewelry making. To add sparkle, we've also included more than 500 beautiful beads. Use them to make bracelets, anklets and rings ten different ways, with countless variations possible. Of course, spool knitting has been around since Grandma's day. Wrapping string around the prongs of a knitting spool is a time-honoured way to get beginners started knitting, but the outcome was never something you'd want to wear to school. Until now, that is.
