Jequita Potts (J.P.) McDaniel has been a college instructor, parent educator, and newspaper journalist for over 25 years. She lives in Littleton, Colorado. Jon Van Zyle is an accomplished artist who has illustrated over 30 books for children. He lives in Eagle River, Alaska.
