A young da Vinci tries to paint the scariest monster imaginable. Leonardo da Vinci was an unusually gifted boy. He was smart, talented, and popular and had a wonderful imagination. He was also ambitious. When Leonardo was asked to paint a shield, he decided to paint a monster. He wanted it to be the most frightening monster anyone had ever seen, something so terrible it would stop the enemy in his tracks. But how will he know if his monster is horrifying enough?
