Synopsis

Rio No. 2 The Creature from Blu's Lagoon by Stefan Petrucha, James Silvani

While recording bird calls, Linda loses her new digital recorder, but when Blu finds it, it's full of strange and horrifying growls! Is some sort of new predator on the loose in the sanctuary? Before the gang can solve the mystery themselves, monster-hunters and reality shows invade, turning their quiet jungle home into pandemonium. Blu calls on his friends to find the beast, and a madcap hunt to save the sanctuary from the real and mythical monsters is on!

About the Author

STEFAN PETRUCHA is the author of such YA series as Timetripper, Split, and The Rule of Won, as well as THE THREE STOOGES, POWER RANGERS, PAPERCUTZ SLICES, and many other series from Papercutz. He has written X-Files comics for Topps, Disney comics for Egmont, and he was nominated for a Stoker Award for his graphic novel, Kolchak: The Devil in the Details. JAMES SILVANI is a Maui-based comic book artist and. He received an art degree from San Francisco State University. He has been working as a freelance artist since 1994 and is currently providing art for monthly comics titles such as Disney/Kaboom's Darkwing Duck and Ape Entertainment's Richie Rich.
