The Glorkian Warrior and the Mustache of Destiny by James Kochalka

Synopsis

The Glorkian Warrior and the Mustache of Destiny by James Kochalka

In volume 3 of James Kochalka's off-kilter science fiction series for young readers, the eponymous hapless space adventurer is joined by three horribly annoying little kids. Everything is terrible, and nothing is okay. Well, that's not entirely true. There's a really great mustache. And a valiant cup of coffee. And a truly dastardly villain. And the Glorkian SuperGrandma even makes an appearance! With gorgeous, lively illustrations and super silly humor, this third volume in the Glorkian Warrior series is jam- packed with extra-gross gross-out humor and ludicrously bad decisions. Obviously, it's the best yet.

Reviews

Bright and very busy panels take readers through a roller-coaster ride of guffaws, gaffes, and giggles; silliness reigns supreme, and sense is conspicuously absent. Kirkus Reviews

The humor level continues to hover between sly and slapstick, and the Glorkian Warrior s complete obliviousness about his own limitations (think Inspector Gadget) is particularly amusing in this outing, since it's the kid aliens who are key to saving him. The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books

I love Lovereading because I often never know what to read and this helps you find a good book. I have recommended this to many people.

Shannon-Louise Masters – age 15

You give me age appropriate ideas of books I can read and buy for the children and find out what other children their age think of them too.

Katie Lonsdale

It has introduced my children to books we hadn’t come across before. Real children’s reviews gives a great insight into what others think to

Lorraine Woods

It gives me a chance to read types of books that I would not normally try, and it motivates me to read every night to finish it!

It is THE website to use for narrowing down your search for any book. Definitely knocks the socks off any other book review website.

Nickey and Tomasz Hawryszczuk

I have told all my friends, family & teachers to see for themselves just how great the site is. Without fail, they are hugely impressed.
