Irish in Close-Up Key Stage 3 by Celia Gormley

Irish in Close-Up Key Stage 3 by Celia Gormley

This colourful new resource is one of a series of three books being written to cover Irish at Key Stage 3. This book covers Year 9 and is supported by specially-commissioned audio recordings which are available as downloads free of charge from the Colourpoint Educational website. Written in a clear and engaging style, the theory is supported by reading, writing, speaking and listening exercises, and accompanied by relevant icons where cross-curricular skills, thinking skills and personal capabilities are addressed. The book has been edited and carefully checked for accuracy by Sean McNally BA Hons, MA, PGCFHE. Both the editing of this book and the production of the audio recordings was funded by Foras na Gaeilge. The author, Celia Gormley, has over 35 years' experience teaching and examining Irish. Until her recent retirement she was Head of Modern Languages and Assistant Deputy Principal in Cross and Passion College, Ballycastle.
