Synopsis

Irish in Close-Up: Key Stage 3 Year 10 by Celia Gormley

This is the second in the new series of resources that will cover Key Stage 3 Irish, with one book for each of Years 8, 9 and 10. The book follows a colourful yet methodical style where theory is supported by reading, writing, speaking and listening exercises. The book makes use of specially-commissioned audio recordings which will be available as downloads free of charge from our web site. The book is being edited, and the language put through a quality assurance process, by Sean McNally, who will be well-known to those in the sector. The author Celia Gormley was, until her recent retirement, Head of Irish at Cross and Passion College, Ballycastle. The project has been supported by Foras na Gaeilge.

I am so pleased to have signed my kids up as they are reading a much wider range of books and even choosing books out of their comfort zone.

Angela East

Lovereading is just a convenient way to find new books and hear others opinions on them.

Sarah Murray – age 15

You give me age appropriate ideas of books I can read and buy for the children and find out what other children their age think of them too.
