About the Author

Anne Rooney studied English at Cambridge and taught medieval English and French literature at the Universities of Cambridge and York before becoming a full-time writer. She enjoys writing fiction and non-fiction for both children and adults. She was long-listed for the Aventis Science Prize in 2004. Anne lives in Cambridge. She has also written Grim, Gross and Grisly: Disgusting Facts About People for Barrington Stoke.
