Synopsis

Boffin Boy and the Emperor's Tomb Set 3 by David Orme

Wu Pee finds a magic book and disappears off to China to find the Emperor's Tomb. When he still hasn't come back a month later, Boffin Boy, his new pet and Chika go to investigate. Things soon get complicated when they realise that their only clue to the location of the tomb's secret entrance is a slice of pizza. Katt may be a stupid name for a dog, but he certainly comes in handy on an adventure like this! The Boffin Boy series is published by Ransom Publishing, a specialist in books for reluctant and struggling readers. The speech bubbles and a simplified Manga style ensure that the books have simple language and low word counts to appeal to newly independent and struggling readers. The Boffin Boy books are ideal for children aged 8 - 14 with a reading age of 6 - 7.
