Synopsis

The Snatch by

Majid's dad is a security guard with a security company, whose vans transport dangerous criminals around the country. Majid does a day's work experience with the firm when the security van is held up and a highly dangerous prisoner is freed by an armed gang. Majid and his dad aren't prepared to let the criminal escape and they track the villain in the hope that they can recapture him without being killed. The trouble for them is that one of the other guards is the 'inside man'. Graphic Toxics are a series of highly illustrated graphic fiction for reluctant reader who are encouraged to read by fast-paced, adventure stories. The Snatch is ideal for reluctant readers aged 8-12 with a reading age of 6-7.

About the Author

Jonny Zucker worked as a primary school teacher, football coach and stand-up comedian before turning to writing full time. He has written over 100 books for children of all ages. He plays rhythm guitar in a band and still thinks he has a chance of becoming a professional footballer. He lives in London with his wife and three sons.
