Could a Whale Swim to the Moon? by Camilla de le Bedoyere

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if a blue whale was your friend? What If A Blue Whale Could Swim To The Moon? provides a fun introduction into the life of a blue whale. By imagining animals in everyday scenarios readers can learn about their size, diet and other features. Engaging question and answer format will keep young readers entertained and help them to understand and retain animal facts. For example, what would a whale do on Valentine's Day? She would make an enormous valentine card because she has the biggest heart in the animal world! Featuring superb illustrations with an engaging question and answer format, this series will keep young readers entertained and help them to understand and retain animal facts. Reviews

This book will get children thinking and making those contagious, adorable sounds they make when awe and wonder set in... great for developing sustained shared thinking or critical thinking in young children. EYE 'The question and answer format will keep young readers entertained and help them to understand and retain animal facts. Amusing illustrations are perfectly matched to the pictures - so we see the whale in a swimming cap and blowing up 250 balloons with one breath! It's great fun but it's also factual; there's a map to show where the blue whale lives too

's largest mammal in everyday human situations, children will begin to grasp how this gentle giant is huge and impressive. Every page has a new and exciting fact sure to amaze children and adults alike. Booktrust'
