About the Author

Selene Nicolaides was first inspired to write about Greek mythology when she discovered a box of intriguing artefacts in her attic that had once belonged to her father, the renowned archaeologist George Nicolaides. These remarkable treasures, which seemed to her to exude a mysterious energy that could only originate from the ancient gods, instilled a passion in Selene to document her father's finds and retell the great myths in a compelling new album for young readers. This handsome book features key writings and illustrations from the author's archive and presents a collection of fascinating objects from the mythical worlds of long-ago.
