There is an interest and informaion on every numbered page but what I realy liked is the inclusion of a contents page and an index. Carousel This book does 'what it says on the tin', in other words it is a foundtion stage information book about big trucks. This makes it the perfect book for a large number of children, both girls and boys, who are facinated by such vehicles. the School librarian 'While the images and some of the facts will appeal to younger children aged four years plus, the text and layout will be just as appealing to older readers aged seven years plus and especially to those obsessed with trucks. About the Author

HONOR HEAD began by working on comics, then art and craft publications before children's book publishing. She has numerous books for children on pets and animals, as well as on subjects ranging from healthy eating and science to balloon modelling and vampires! Honor leaves close to the sea in the beautiful Devonshire countryside with her two very spoilt cats and a dog called Hamish.
