Synopsis

Yoga for You: Feel Calmer, Stronger, Happier by Rebecca Rissman

This introduction to Yoga is aimed specifically at 'tween' readers, featuring a fresh, accessible magazine-like feel. The book encourages children and teenagers to relax, improve posture and fitness, and how it can benefit those who practise it, and then moves on to two full sequences of yoga poses, with an illustration for each pose (one pose per page). One sequence includes a range of poses to get the yoga student pumped up, sweaty and energized, and another to calm and de-stress.
