Snowy the Zebra by Simon Childs

Synopsis

Snowy the Zebra by Simon Childs

This is the delightful story of a zebra called Snowy, who is excluded from the herd because he has no stripes. Ultimately Snowy saves the day and wins acceptance by staying true to who he really is, rather than just fitting in. He is helped in his journey by a little boy called Kai.

About the Author

The author is originally from the UK. He has a Japanese wife and two boys, Kai and Seb. A family safari holiday in Africa in the 1990s inspired this story, which became a firm favourite of Kai's as he adjusted to a new school and new friends when the family first moved to Tokyo. The story and message of Snowy is still as relevant today as it was then, and is presented here in its own charming way, to share with a wider audience.
