Synopsis

Captured! (A Summer's Tale) by Christine Davies

Captured! is the story of a young rabbit called Summer who lives with her parents and friends in a beautiful meadow deep in the Devon countryside. Always curious, Summer finds herself in grave danger when she encounters a family of humans who arrive in her meadow. Helpless to free herself, Summer has to rely on her brave parents and friends as they undertake a perilous journey to bring her home. Join Shadow, Digger, Bracken, Slither and Swift-Wing on their adventure as they face danger to rescue the little rabbit. This little book was written for my beautiful and precious grand-daughter Summer. She has brightened the world of everyone who knows her, and I hope she will enjoy this little story. Captured! is also dedicated to my wonderful children Amber & Russell who fill my world with joy and laughter every day, and with thanks to my husband Nigel for his encouragement. LUM's xxxx With special thanks to Lizzie Parr and Ruby Reeves-Farmer for their gorgeous illustrations, and to Nigel Lowe for making it possible. I hope you enjoy Summer's adventures in Captured!
