Champions! A Five-Day Holiday Club Plan, Complete and Ready-to-Run by John Hardwick

Champions! A Five-Day Holiday Club Plan, Complete and Ready-to-Run by John Hardwick

Including songs, theme illustrations, daily dramas, puppet sketches, Bible stories, quizzes, crafts, games and fun sheets for younger and older children, this title encourages children to run straight towards the goal and finish the race in order to win the ultimate prize of eternal life.

Champions is a five-day holiday-club programme by John Hardwick. I have used this author's holiday-club material previously on a number of occasions, and heartily recommend it. This latest book is linked to 2004's being an Olympic year: the theme looks at how Jesus ran the race for God. The material in the book includes puppet sketches, crafts, games, quick quizzes, Bible narrations, activity sheets, and a suggested daily timetable (Barnabas, GBP8.99 (GBP8.10); 1-84101-185-1). -- Sarah Hillman Church Times
