This is a performance poem by popular author Lucy Moore. It is the story of creation told in a style enjoyable and accessible to young children. It is strikingly illustrated by Honor Ayres to capture children's imagination with vivid colours. It subtly plays out important message of looking after the world we live in. - May 2009 The illustrations first caught my eye being bright but slightly muted, softer than many books for little ones and that appealed. Then I turned to the words and smiled straight away as I began to read. They cry out to be read aloud; in fact it is hard not to do so even when you are on your own reviewing! Told in delightful rhyme, the story of creation becomes fun and reader and the little one are going to enjoy this book over and over again. Reviewed by Mary Bartholomew

About the Author

Lucy Moore is a professional actor and storyteller. She works for BRF as part of the Barnabas Ministry team. A published writer, performer and creative arts director with a background in teaching languages, she makes use of lively original poetry, mime, storytelling, and a variety of drama workshop activities. Her work with BRF includes sharing the Bible with children through Barnabas RE Days. Lucy is author of The Gospels Unplugged, The Lord's Prayer Unplugged, Topsy Turvy Christmas, Messy Church Messy Church 2 and All-Age Worship all published by BRF. She and her husband, Paul, have two children, Arthur and Judith. They worship at St Wilfrid's, Cowplain in Hampshire, where Paul is the minister.
