About the Author

Jan Godfrey is an experienced writer for children under seven, with many published books to her name. A former schoolteacher, she is now retired. She is married to a Church of England clergyman, has four grown-up children and many grandchildren. Gail Yerrill lives in Bedford, England, with her husband and two children. She illustrates children's books in a whimsical style and designs greeting cards and stationery. Gail loves spending time with her family and friends, going to the theatre, walking in the countryside and travelling to new places.
