Babushka by Sandra Ann Horn

Babushka by Sandra Ann Horn

In this festive Russian folktale, Babushka travels to Bethlehem to meet a very special baby. Along the way, she gives away all of her girts, arriving at the stable empty-handed. Sut there she learns the most important lesson of all - the more you give away in love, the more you receive.

'Illustrated beautifully, this [Russian] fable offers an alternative to the traditional Christmas story, an is an interesting way to introduce children to international perspectives on the festive season' - Five to Eleven'
