Siti's Sisters is a popular series of books for girls who are reluctant readers. This workbook accompanies three titles in set 4 which cover the early years of the girls' story. Siti and her friends are four girls who experience all sorts of life issues in this engrossing series. They are ideal for touching the hearts of young girls and always a great read. It contains worksheets specific to each title, plus teacher's notes and advice on working with the resources. There are 18 further books in the series which build up reading skills and stamina. In the other sets in the series Siti and her sisters gradually grow up and the storylines become develop into those suitable for young teenage girls. Siti's Sister is ideal for reluctant readers aged 9 to 10 with a reading age of 7.

About the Author

Before writing full-time, Helen Bird taught as a Special Needs Co-ordinator in a large comprehensive school. At the last count she had written around 40 books, many for reluctant readers. Helen also runs workshops for children and courses for teachers.
