Moving by Helen Orme

Lu is worried. Her mum and dad want to move her to a new, private school, so she can get better exam results. But Lu doesn't want to go; she'll miss the sisters. Can the sisters come up with some good reasons why Lu should stay where she is? Moving is part of the Siti's Sisters reading series which follow Siti and her friend's experiences of real-life issues. Each fast moving story is around 1200 to 1500 words in length, with tightly controlled vocabulary and contemporary black and white illustrations throughout to help readers engage and follow the narrative. About the Author

Helen Orme is author of over 40 books for both children and young adults . Her recent publications include the popular new girls series Siti's sisters, written for reluctant readers. When not writing she runs workshops for children on fiction and non-fiction writing, and courses for teachers in both primary and secondary schools. Before becoming a writer and consultant she taught as a Special Needs Co-ordinator in a large comprehensive school.
