Streetwise Collection is a set of 12 reading books and 12 accompanying workbooks. 'Streetwise' covers key PSHE (personal, social and health education) topics for ages 11 to 14. Each reading book features a short story highlighting a single topic, accompanied by discussion points and writing ideas in the back of each book. Each story is short enough to enable a topic to be covered in a single 20 minute lesson. 'Streetwise' is ideal for reluctant readers aged 11+ with a reading ages of 10+.

About the Author

David Orme was a teacher for 18 years before he became a full-time writer. David has written over 200 books. Before writing full-time, Helen Orme taught as a Special Needs Co-ordinator in a large comprehensive school. At the last count she had written around 40 books, many for reluctant and struggling readers.
