a laugh-aloud romp IRISH EXAMINER I always think that Francesca Simon must have such fun writing them. The stories are also scattered with little pen and ink drawings by Tony Ross that capture the chaos of Henry's life and help the action along. I think that the book works well as either read-aloud stories to share, or for children growing in confidence to read by themselves. Francesca Simon spent her childhood on the beach in California, and then went to Yale and Oxford Universities to study medieval history and literature. She now lives in London with her family. Francesca is one of the UK's best-selling children's authors and was the 5th most borrowed in 2010.
