Brilliant Billy's Big Book of Dinosaurs by Simon Hutton

Brilliant Billy's Big Book of Dinosaurs by Simon Hutton

Billy is desperate to beat the class swot on the latest competition, writing a story. But he gets stuck, and none of the hints he is given help him much. It seems that he won't win after all - until he accidentally drops his notebook about the dinosaurs in the museum, and it is read by the judges!

Hutton's book appeals on many different accounts, not the least of which are the value of perserverance and of realizing that there are different but equally valid ways of completing a task. School Librarian
