Where's Widdershins? by Michael Lawrence

Where's Widdershins? by Michael Lawrence

When a monstrous-looking baby yoomun is dropped from the sky by a large crow, Widdershins and the trolls of Troll Beardy decide to return it. They're not too keen on yoomuns, so there aren't many volunteers for this thankless and frankly dangerous task. It is decided that two young trolls, Snirkle and Grotta will go, along with Widdershins. On their adventure they manage to rescue a goat stuck in a swamp and meet such fantastical creatures as a hopping gurk. But it's nothing compared to what is waiting for them when they get to the yoomun town - will anyone believe that it wasn't their fault? Michael has imagined a neo-medieval world of troll heroes who love all that the dreaded yoomuns detest. Rich in comic detail, it will appeal to picture book readers who are ready for a visual feast!
