Synopsis

Princess Stories by Kate Tym

This book offers a wonderful collection of princess stories with a difference. There's a princess here to appeal to everyone, from the bold princess with her wits about her who rescues a bewitched prince from the fairy folk, to the mysterious daughter of the Dragon King under the Sea waiting for her long-lost love. Kate Tym has achieved a chatty, humorous style which will appeal to adult and child alike and Sophy Williams' beautiful illustrations fill the stories with magic and enchantment.

About the Author

Kate Tym is an established author with a range of titles under her belt from pre-school board books to angst-ridden teenage novels. She used to have a proper job as a children's books editor and also dabbled with stand-up comedy and leading guided walks around London. Kate lives in East Sussex. Sophy Williams is the award-winning illustrator of many titles, including When Grandma Came (shortlisted for the Mother Goose Award), The Cat in the Dark, The Oxford Treasury of Fairy Tales and The Last Angel. She lives in Wiltshire with the illustrator Mark Robertson and their two sons.
