Sunday 1, Opening ceremony: Mark 9:33-37 (Be like a child) Day 1, Making the team: Mark 1:14-20; 2:13-17; 3:13-19 (Jesus calls his disciples) Day 2, Shaping the team: Mark 10:46-52 (Jesus heals Bartimaeus) Day 3, Inspiring the team: Mark 9:2-13 (and 8:27-30) (Jesus is the Son of God) Day 4, Challenging the team: Mark 6:45-52 (Jesus walks on water) Day 5, Sticking to the team: Mark 4:1-9,14-20 (Parable of the sower) Sunday 2, Closing ceremony: Mark 14-16 (the gospel message) On Your Marks aims to: * Explain who Jesus is and who he came to do as he lived on earth. * Give children the opportunity to respond to Jesus. * Allow children to hear what it means to be a Christian, as they talk with adult Christians. * Create a fun programme where children will feel welcomed and valued.
