Synopsis

Duckie's Wish by Frances Barry

Duckie wishes she was as tall as Goose, which begins a chain of wishing, with Goose wishing he was as fast as Rabbit, who wishes she was as big as Pig, etc. The chain comes full circle when, in a final fold-out spread, everyone wishes they had as many friends as Duckie!

About the Author

A freelance artist and illustrator, Duckie's Rainbow was her first book for children. She says, I named the character Duckie because it was a term of endearment my great-aunt used for everyone.
