About the Author

James Nicholson has a mathematics degree from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc from Sheffield Hallam. He has taught mathematics for nearly 30 years, including 13 as head of department, He is the author of two A-level texts and has contributed to many other textbooks at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level.
