About the Author

Gillian Lobel was born in Coventry and studied English at Manchester University. She taught English for many years, as well as tutoring children with special educational needs. Little Bear's Special Wish was her first book with Little Tiger Press. Gaby Hansen was born in South Africa where she attended the School of Art, Ballet, Drama and Music. She moved to London in 1998 and has illustrated several books for Little Tiger Press, Including The Gift Of Christmas, The Wish Cat and Ready For Bed!
