Synopsis

Colour it by Modern Painters

In Colour It!, Daphne Astor and Karen Wright feature the work of 32 cutting-edge British artists, including David Hockney and Damien Hirst, in a coloring book aimed at children living in war zones: Afghanistan, Iraq, and the Ivory Coast. The images - from Peter Davies' crazy cluster of stars to David Remfry's dancing poodles - offer inspiration and fun to children for whom these qualities may be in short supply indeed. A portion of proceeds will be donated to UNICEF for each copy sold.
