Synopsis

The Bear with Sticky Paws by Clara Vulliamy

Theres a bear on the doorstep, a small white tufty one, standing on his suitcase to reach the bell. When Pearl is visited by a naughty young bear, fun and chaos followand - oh no! - sticky paws everywhere! But in the tradition of all good picture books, the return of Pearls mum sees order restored and, as the day comes to an end, Pearl and the bears adventure is overfor now!

About the Author

Clara Vulliamy

Clara Vulliamy was born in London, the daughter of author and illustrator Shirley Hughes and her husband, John Vulliamy. She studied at Chelsea School of Art, The Ruskin and the Royal Academy. Clara started concentrating on writing and illustrating children's books when she had children of her own and has now written and illustrated many stories for children and babies. She lives in Twickenham, with her husband and their children Jack and Martha and three guinea pigs.
