About the Author

Tanya Robyn Batt is one of the world's few professional fairies. She also adds a pinch of pixie dust to her role as a freelance arts educator, using her huge collection of clothes and costumes and her passion for dressing up to educate and entertain. Other Barefoot projects that Batt has worked on are The Faerie's Gift (9781841488059), A Child's Book of Faeries (9781841489537), and The Princess and the White Bear King (HB: 9781841482422 and NEW PB 9781846860935). Rachel Griffin's distinctive artwork, which utilizes an eclectic mixture of handmade papers, fabrics, beads, stamps, maps and pottery, has appeared in numerous exhibitions. She has also designed numerous greetings cards and a best-selling calendar and Christmas calendars.
