Synopsis

We're Sailing Down the Nile by Laurie Krebs

There is so much in store on this incredible journey: enormous statues and temples, the legendary Sphinx, tombs and mummies, and of course the Great Pyramids. With hieroglyphs on each page, a god or goddess associated with every destination, and informative notes at the end, you will be an Egypt expert in no time! This book has been selected by DCSF for 2008 'Book Ahead' scheme.

Reviews

The rhyming storyline is simple, but coupled with a god or goddess on every page plus lots of added information at the back, it will cleverly appeal to a wide age range. The Bookseller*
