About the Author

Margaret Read MacDonald has travelled the world on storytelling tours, is the author of over thirty books, and has a PhD in folklore from Indiana University. Margaret teaches storytelling at the University of Washington and has been a children's librarian since 1965. She lives in Kirkland, Washington.Bob King is a songwriter, singer, poet, storyteller and educator. Bob has been performing, teaching and writing for children and adults for over thirty years now and his songs have sold in the millions. He is best known for the song 'Sandwiches are Beautiful' and 'Brother For Sale' as recorded by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.Sophie Fatus is a full-time illustrator and sculptress who studied at the prestigious Academy of Fine Art in Paris.
