The Lovereading4Kids comment

Shakespeare was a brilliant storyteller and he knew a good story when he heard one. Here in this wonderfully atmospheric book we discover the stories from which some of his best-known plays took their inspiration. ‘A Bargain is a Bargain’ was the inspiration for A Merchant of Venice whilst ‘The Hill of Roses’ forms the background for Romeo and Juliet.

This book is an absolutely fantastic way to introduce and enthuse children of the delights of Shakespeare from an early age.
