The Owl and the Pussycat. by Kevin Waldron

The Owl and the Pussycat. by Kevin Waldron

The Owl and the Pussycat went to sea In a beautiful pea green boat, They took some honey, and plenty of money, Wrapped up in a five pound note ...Perhaps Edward Lear's best-loved nonsense rhyme, this new edition of The Owl and the Pussycat is guaranteed to delight readers young and old. Follow the adventures of the owl and the pussycat on the high seas as they sail away to the land where the Bong trees grow and are married by the turkey who lives on the hill. With magical illustrations, the most appealing of characters, and a new verse, this is a fresh and exciting approach to an old favourite.

About the Author

Kevin Waldron

Selected as a Booktrust Best New Illustrator of 2011.

Kevin Waldron loves to draw animal characters, so when his sketchbook became a paper zoo, he created Mr Peek to take care of them all. Mr Peek’s Zoo was soon rather cramped in the sketchbook so Kevin released them all in his first ever picture book. With an MA in illustration from Kingston University, Kevin now lives in London. He enjoys cycling to work everyday at the studio he shares with other illustrators. He was chosen as one of the Booktrust Best New Illlustrators of 2011.
